Buying Guide
Key purchase considerations when selecting lights for paper lanterns include brightness, color temperature, battery life, and ease of use. Warm white LEDs (around 2700–3000K) create cozy atmospheres compared with cool or RGB options. Look for lights with long run times (24–36 hours or more) and simple on/off or pull-tab switches for quick setup. Battery type and availability should match your lantern sizes; compact lights with CR2032 cells are common and widely replaceable. For outdoor use, verify water resistance and the ability to withstand wind and rain. If you plan a large display, consider a multi-pack with matching brightness and color consistency to achieve a cohesive look. Finally, ensure the lights are lightweight and easily attachable to lantern frames to avoid damaging delicate paper.
